Follow up on last week’s story about a Florida surfer getting attacked:

“I side paddled and got back into shallow water and a couple of other guys came up and got me,” explained Andrew.
Andrew was rushed to a local hospital where he underwent a 2-1/2 hour surgery to remove a broken shark tooth that was embedded in his foot and to repair tendons that were lacerated.
Andrew, who explained his inexperience as a patient, spent the next four nights under the watchful eye of the doctors and nurses, who pumped him with an IV drip of antibiotics in an attempt to stave off a potential infection from the shark bite.
